David Raney
Lead Pastor
David has been the Executive Pastor at 2ND since March 2019, leading adult ministries and overseeing the NextGen ministries. He led the Greenbrier campus from its launch in August 2021 until he became the Lead Pastor of 2ND in June of 2024. He and his wife, Abby, are high school sweethearts and grew up in Oklahoma. Abby is an RN and together they have three children. David is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently a doctoral student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He began full-time ministry in 2010 and has served in churches in Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
David enjoys watching and playing sports, kayaking, and coffee. He is an avid fan of the Denver Broncos, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Oklahoma Sooners.
