David Raney
Preaching and Campus Leadership
David has been the Executive Pastor at 2ND since March 2019, leading adult ministries and overseeing the NextGen ministries. He has led the Greenbrier campus since it opened in August 2021. He and his wife, Abby, are high school sweethearts and grew up in Oklahoma. Abby is an RN and together they have three children. David is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently a doctoral student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He began full-time ministry in 2010 and has served in churches in Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
David enjoys watching and playing sports, kayaking, and coffee. He is an avid fan of the Denver Broncos, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Oklahoma Sooners.
