Darrel Ray
Darrel has been Minister to Senior Adults/Assimilation since August 2019. He met his wife Tonia at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at Westark (now UAFS) and they have been married for 30 years. Darrel holds a BS degree in Business Marketing from Arkansas Tech, an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a DMin from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He led Campus Ministry in Arkansas for 27 years before serving the ABSC as an Evangelism Consultant and Community Missions Evangelism Strategist. He and Tonia have 2 grown children, Nathan who lives in Kansas City, MO with his wife Andi, and Hannah who lives in Little Rock.
Darrel’s favorite things include pickleball, golf, reading, and baseball. His teams are the Arkansas Razorbacks, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Yankees.
